Budget Advice points - The French government has announced plans to create 150 centers across France to fight against debt and poverty. The government will unveil today the list of the first "Budget Advice Points" which were promised by French President Emmanuel Macron in 2018, as part of the Poverty Plan. 400 are expected by the end of 2020. In 2018, the Banque de France recorded 162,000 cases of debt, of which nearly 92,000 involved new households. This figure has been falling since 2012, but still remains high.
