Strike action sees rubbish piling up in Marseille

Strike action sees rubbish piling up in Marseille – Local officials in Marseilles have called for police to intervene following strike action which is preventing the collection of rubbish in the city. Bin collections have been severely disrupted by strikers blocking the premises over the last couple of days with only a few vehicles able to circulate in the city centre.
