Survey

Survey - A survey published on Thursday has shown that 73% of French people have a bad opinion of the French government's immigration policy, but that the recently announced measures are welcomed.  On the introduction of immigration quotas , 61% of respondents believe that it is a good measure and 63% of respondents were also in favour of tightening  access to medical care for foreigners in an irregular situation.

The survey also revealed that immigration ranks 7th as a topic which matters most for French people far behind health, purchasing power and social security issues.
