Yellow Vest movement to make official request

Yellow Vest movement - French media has reported this morning that the "yellow vests” movement will make an official request to the authorities to demonstrate on the Champs-Elysees in Paris next Saturday.

After a rather quiet demonstration last Saturday in Paris, the "yellow vests " claim the right to demonstrate again on the main avenue, which was prohibited for any event on Saturday, March 23.

The movement denounces more broadly, like several associations, the establishment of "prohibited perimeters".

According to several associations the ban is an “infringement of fundamental rights”. The president of the League of Human Rights has seized the State Council for "serious violation of the freedom to demonstrate." An appeal will be examined on Wednesday.
