American rapper A$AP Rocky says fatherhood has profoundly changed him, making him more sensitive and affectionate.

Speaking with W Magazine, Rocky reflected on how becoming a parent shifted his understanding of vulnerability.
“Before having children, I was probably cold and insensitive,” he admitted.
“Now, I’m someone very affectionate. I’m much more emotional.”
Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their daughter, Rocki Irish, in September 2025.
The rapper gushed about his newborn, calling her his “little twin” and expressing joy at being a father to a daughter.
He also shares two sons, RZA and Riot, and recently praised the bond between his children, noting his surprise at how well they get along despite being close in age.
While his emotional side has grown, Rocky remains protective.
Speaking humorously about anyone who might approach his daughter romantically in the future, he said, “I’ll pray for them.”
Fatherhood, Rocky says, has not only deepened his love for his family but also inspired a newfound capacity to share affection with the world.
