Adolescence and Code of Silence among big winners at the Bafta TV Awards

The 2026 BAFTA Television Awards honoured standout dramas, comedies and documentaries, with Adolescence emerging as one of the night’s biggest winners.

The British Academy Television Awards 2026 took place in London on Sunday, celebrating the year’s standout television productions and performances.

Adolescence emerged as one of the evening’s biggest successes, winning Best Limited Drama as well as acting awards for Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper and Christine Tremarco.

In the Drama Series category, Code of Silence took the top prize ahead of competitors including Blue Lights and This City Is Ours.

Comedy honours went to Amandaland for Scripted Comedy, while Steve Coogan won Best Male Comedy Performance for How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge). 

Katherine Parkinson received the female comedy performance award for Here We Go.

In entertainment categories, Last One Laughing and The Celebrity Traitors both secured major awards, with Bob Mortimer also recognised for his performance.

The international programme award went to The Studio, while Grenfell: Uncovered won Best Single Documentary.

Special honours were presented to Mary Berry, who received the BAFTA Fellowship, and consumer finance expert Martin Lewis, who was given the Special Award.
