Alexandra and Ben-Sylvester have been together since 2016.
While the couple have largely kept their relationship private, they have regularly appeared together at events in Monaco over the years.
In the photographs announcing their engagement, Alexandra can be seen showing off her ring alongside her future husband, as well as during a lunch and while holding her dog.
She accompanied the pictures with the caption “The marriage plot” and several yellow heart emojis, matching the colour of the ring.
The announcement means another wedding is now on the horizon for Monaco’s Princely Family, although the couple have not yet revealed any details about when or where the ceremony will take place.
