Anne Hathaway joins Tom Cruise for Days of Thunder sequel
Anne Hathaway is set to star alongside Tom Cruise in the upcoming sequel to Days of Thunder, with Paramount Pictures also confirming a release date for the film.
The two Hollywood stars will appear together in the follow-up to the 1990 racing film, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 2 June 2028.

Cruise will reprise his role as NASCAR driver Cole Trickle, nearly four decades after first playing the character.
Plot details remain limited, but Hathaway is expected to play a racing team owner and engineer.
Cruise announced her involvement on Saturday alongside an image of the pair posing with a NASCAR race car at Daytona.
The sequel will be directed by Jonathan Levine, with Cruise producing alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Tommy Harper.
The screenplay has been written by Will Staples.
The film will be shot for IMAX and will also be released in premium formats including Dolby Cinema and 4DX.
The original Days of Thunder, directed by Tony Scott, followed rookie driver Cole Trickle as he entered the world of NASCAR.
Released in 1990, it also starred Robert Duvall, Nicole Kidman, Randy Quaid and Michael Rooker.
The sequel is due to be released exclusively in cinemas on 2 June 2028.
