In a statement published on social media on Tuesday, the reigning French champions confirmed they had launched a conciliation procedure following the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) Appeals Chamber's decision to refuse the club's registration for next season.

The club said the move aims to obtain a review of its admission to the Betclic ÉLITE championship.

"Following the decision of the FFBB Appeals Chamber, AS Monaco Basket-Ball S.A. has referred the matter to the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) by initiating a conciliation procedure, with the aim of obtaining a review of the Club's admission to the 2026/27 Betclic ÉLITE Championship," the statement read.

AS Monaco Basket added that it remains fully committed to pursuing all legal avenues available under French sports law while continuing its restructuring process in close cooperation with its institutional partners.

The latest development comes just days after the FFBB Appeals Chamber rejected the club's appeal, upholding an earlier decision to exclude Monaco from the French professional leagues for the 2026/27 season.
