Beaulieu Classic Festival returns for eight days of music this September
The Beaulieu Classic Festival returns to Beaulieu-sur-Mer this month, bringing eight days of classical music, opera, musical theatre and jazz-inspired performances to venues across the town.
Running from 12 to 19 September, the 2026 edition will feature internationally renowned musicians alongside emerging talent, with concerts taking place in some of Beaulieu-sur-Mer’s most distinctive settings.

The festival begins on Saturday 12 September at 10am with its traditional opening in Place Marinoni, where pianist Steeve Villa-Massone will perform in the heart of the town.
Admission is free.
That evening, the Nice Opera Choir will take over the Plage de la Petite Afrique at 8.30pm for an open-air concert featuring some of the best-known choruses from the operatic repertoire.
The performance is also free, with passes available online.
On Sunday, actor François Berléand will join Trio Hélios for Le Manteau, a musical interpretation of Nikolai Gogol’s famous story.
The programme continues on Tuesday 15 September with pianist Jonathan Fournel performing works by composers including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Schubert.
A different take on classical music follows on Wednesday with Mozart, Moi ? Jamais !, François Moschetta’s humorous one-man piano show.
On Thursday, cellist Astrig Siranossian and pianist Nathanaël Gouin will perform a chamber music programme spanning composers and musical styles from across Europe.
Gala dinner and closing concert
On Friday 18 September, the Hôtel Royal Riviera in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat will host a musical gala dinner featuring songs from major stage productions including Notre-Dame de Paris, Roméo et Juliette, Les Misérables and Le Roi Soleil.
The festival concludes on Saturday 19 September with virtuoso violinist Roby Lakatos and his ensemble.
Known for combining classical music with jazz and gypsy traditions, Lakatos will perform the closing concert at the Casino de Beaulieu at 7.30pm.
Tickets for paid performances start from €30, while the gala dinner costs €120 and requires a reservation.
