Ben Affleck reveals how his children react to his relationship advice
Ben Affleck has revealed that his children are quick to remind him of his own romantic history whenever he tries to offer relationship advice.
The 54-year-old actor said his three children, Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14, have started teasing him when conversations about dating and relationships come up at the family dinner table.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Affleck explained that he sometimes tries to use his own experiences to offer advice when his children discuss their friends and relationships.
His 17-year-old recently responded by questioning whether he was really an expert on the subject.
Affleck said his children have also started exchanging looks whenever he launches into parental advice, although he appeared amused by their reactions.
Affleck reflects on family life
The actor shares his three children with Jennifer Garner, whom he married in 2005.
Their divorce was finalised in 2018, and the former couple have continued to co-parent their children.
Affleck later rekindled his relationship with Jennifer Lopez, whom he had previously been engaged to in the early 2000s.
They married in 2022 before separating two years later, with their divorce finalised in January 2025.
Affleck was appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! while promoting his new Netflix thriller Animals, which also stars Kerry Washington.
He recently revealed that Garner had initially been considered to play his on-screen wife in the film.
The role ultimately went to Washington, although Affleck said he would still like to work with Garner on another project in the future.
