Despite originally seeking damages she claimed could total up to $300 million for alleged reputational harm and lost earnings, no money was exchanged as part of the final agreement, according to reports.

Both sides issued a joint statement saying the project had presented challenges but that concerns raised “deserved to be heard” and that they hope to move forward “constructively and in peace.”

The case, which had been heading towards trial in New York, centred on allegations from Lively’s side of reputational damage and lost commercial opportunities, claims which Baldoni’s team strongly disputed.

The settlement brings the dispute to a close, with both parties now stepping away from further legal action.
