“Bloquons Tout” movement, latest update.

France is set to face widespread protests, transport disruptions, and school closures tomorrow, Wednesday, September 10th, as part of the nationwide movement known as “Bloquons Tout” ("Let’s Block Everything"). Backed by several unions the protests aim to denounce working conditions, budget cuts, and what organizers describe as growing social and economic inequality.

Are morning flights from Nice still operating? Yes, some flights are still scheduled, but many are cancelled, especially later in the day. The French civil aviation authority (DGAC) has ordered a 50% cut in flights between 18:00 and midnight at Nice Airport and Corsican airports. Morning flights on Wednesday are not included in this mandatory cut, so many are still operating, but delays and last-minute cancellations are still possible.

What should you do if you're flying? Check your flight status. Go to: Nice Airport Departures (Live) Or check your airline’s app/website directly. Arrive early - Even if your flight is still scheduled, allow for delays due to: Reduced staffing. Possible airport access disruptions. Increased security presence due to protests

Expect road disruptions -Protesters plan to block roads, including around major cities and airport access routes. In Nice, there may be traffic congestion especially near the airport ring roads or highway exits.

In Paris, a major rally is set for 1 p.m. at Place du Châtelet.

Education: Several teachers' unions are calling for a massive walkout. Some schools are expected to close or operate at reduced capacity.

The Interior Ministry is deploying 80,000 police and gendarmes to prevent major infrastructure blockages. Police will monitor airports, ports, roads, fuel depots, railways, and energy sites.
