Among the headline names this year is Scarlett Johansson, who returns to Cannes in Paper Tiger alongside Adam Driver, adding further prestige to one of the festival’s most anticipated films.
The event will also mark a notable comeback for John Travolta, who is set to present his directorial debut Vol de Nuit pour Los Angeles in the Cannes Premières section, introducing a new chapter in his long film career.
The festival will once again extend beyond official screenings and red carpets with events open to the public.
One of the highlights will be a free screening at Cinéma de la Plage, Cannes’ famous open-air beach cinema.
Audiences will be able to watch Les Caprices de l’enfant roi under the stars in the presence of cast members including Artus and Franck Dubosc, creating one of the festival’s signature Riviera experiences.

Acclaimed filmmaker Peter Jackson will receive a prestigious Palme d’honneur.
