Colombian pop superstar Shakira has unveiled the official song for the 2026 World Cup.
Shakira has unveiled a preview of her new song Dai Dai, set for release ahead of the 2026 World Cup, marking her return to football anthems.
The singer, known for global hits including Whenever, Wherever and Hips Don't Lie, teased her new track Dai Dai in a video filmed at Maracanã Stadium.

The song, which also features Burna Boy, will be released on 14 May.
The 2026 tournament, hosted across United States, Mexico and Canada, runs from 11 June to 19 July and will feature 48 teams.
It marks Shakira’s second official World Cup anthem following Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), released for the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
She also recorded La La La (Brazil 2014) for the 2014 World Cup and performed at the closing ceremony in Rio de Janeiro.
Shakira previously appeared at the 2006 World Cup closing ceremony in Germany, performing Hips Don’t Lie.
Her home nation, Colombia, are among the teams competing in next year’s tournament.
