Coronavirus update 11am Sunday 22nd March 2020 - The bar of 1,000 people tested positive for Covid-19 has been crossed in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region, warns the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Among these cases, thirteen people have died.

1,041 people have tested positive in the Paca region since February 28.

The most affected department remains that of Bouches-du-Rhône, with 572 cases. The Alpes-Maritimes (174), the Var (159), the Hautes-Alpes (35), the Vaucluse (32) and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (17) follow.

Among the thousand patients of Covid-19, 75 are still in intensive care  and 13 people died, including two residents outside Paca.

The victims of the new coronavirus were hospitalized in the Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse and Var.
