The complaint, filed in a US court, alleges that Samsung placed a photograph of the singer on TV boxes to boost sales, describing it as an unauthorised use of her likeness and brand value.
According to the filing, the image was taken from a 2024 festival performance and later appeared on packaging for certain television models sold in the United States.
Lipa says she only became aware of the issue after fans began sharing images online in 2025.
Her legal team argues the use of her image was intended to capitalise on her popularity, and includes claims of copyright and trademark infringement.
Samsung has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
Lipa, who has major endorsement deals with brands including Versace and Yves Saint Laurent, is continuing her international music career following the release of her 2024 album Radical Optimism.
