SNCF Voyageurs and Sud Azur said most TER regional trains serving Monaco will run in "long formation" to accommodate the large crowds expected for the Formula One weekend.
Train frequency will remain unchanged, with services continuing to run every 15 minutes throughout the day.
However, operating hours will be extended, with the last trains from Monaco to Nice and Menton departing between 1am and 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Services will finish slightly earlier on Sunday evening.
Special fares are also being introduced for the event.
A Grand Prix Pass will allow unlimited travel between Nice and Monaco for €10 per day, while a wider Alpes-Maritimes pass will cost €20.
A Côte d’Azur pass covering travel across both the Var and Alpes-Maritimes departments will be available for €30 per day.
The measures are designed to ease congestion and encourage spectators to use public transport during one of Monaco’s busiest weekends of the year.
