Farmers protest

Farmers protest - While farmers in the Var have been protesting this morning, the Federation of Farmers Union has also decided to carry out an “operation escargot” in the Vaucluse region on the A7 motorway from Avignon south to Mornas les Adrets and are threatening to carry out further disruption between Aix-en-Provence and Arles on the A8. Motorists are being advised to avoid these areas. Farmers called on action today throughout France in protest against what they call “agribashing” and the general treatment of farmers in France.
