Fatal road accident

Fatal road accident - Two people have been killed and five other people were injured following a road accident on the A8 motorway this morning. The accident occurred westbound just before exit 39 Fayence-Les Adrets at 6.30am. Following a collision, a car left the road before catching fire. Two of its four occupants burned to death. The five injured were transported to hospitals in Cannes and Fréjus. The car fire spread to surrounding vegetation, but the flames were quickly extinguished by firefighters. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
