Gasly originally finished third on the road but dropped to seventh after receiving pit lane speeding penalties, which Alpine argue should be reconsidered given similar incidents involving other drivers.

A virtual hearing will take place on Thursday ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, where stewards will first decide whether there is any significant new evidence to justify a review.

If so, a second session could follow shortly afterwards.A final decision could potentially impact the final classification of the Monaco race, where Gasly missed out on a podium finish.
