Formula 1 stars and celebrities flock to Monaco E-Prix as Formula E takes centre stage in the Principality
Formula 1 drivers, actors, athletes and influencers descended on the Principality this weekend as the Monaco E-Prix once again attracted a star-studded crowd to Monte-Carlo.
The Monaco E-Prix once again proved it is far more than just a race weekend, as a host of Formula 1 drivers, celebrities and sporting personalities gathered in the Principality on Saturday for Round 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Among the biggest names spotted around the paddock were Formula 1 drivers Carlos Sainz, Nico Hülkenberg, Ollie Bearman and Gabriel Bortoleto, all taking advantage of the weekend to experience Formula E up close ahead of their own Monaco Grand Prix appearance later this month.
With Formula 1 preparing for new hybrid regulations in the coming years, Formula E’s advanced energy management systems and electric technology have become an increasingly interesting point of reference for many within the motorsport world.
A star-studded Monaco paddock
Beyond the F1 names, the glamorous Monaco setting attracted personalities from across entertainment, fashion and sport.
British actor and musician Idris Elba was among the most recognisable faces attending the event, alongside House of the Dragon actor Harry Collett, actor Anthony Boyle and television presenter Danni Menzies.
Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 Academy and former Formula E team boss, was also present, while former Olympic champions Daley Thompson and Paula Radcliffe joined the Monaco crowd throughout the day.
The event also welcomed models, influencers and content creators including Olivia Ponton, Rebecca Donaldson and Sabrina Elba, reflecting Formula E’s growing appeal far beyond traditional motorsport audiences.

Set against the backdrop of Monte-Carlo’s iconic harbour and streets, the Monaco E-Prix continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the most prestigious events on the Formula E calendar.
The championship’s blend of innovation, sustainability and close street racing has increasingly attracted global attention, with Monaco once again serving as one of its flagship events.
Following Saturday’s dramatic first race won by Nyck de Vries for Mahindra Racing, the action continues today with Round 10 of the Monaco E-Prix double-header weekend.
