From Saint-Dalmas to Auron, the fresh snow has arrived just in time for the official opening of the ski areas on Saturday, 6 December.

The latest snowfall builds on last week’s first flurries, setting up promising conditions for skiing and winter hiking.

Auron and Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage have seen particularly generous accumulations, with the village church in Saint-Dalmas standing out against the new layer of white.

Valberg has also benefited from the wintry weather and is preparing to open its ski domain with solid snow coverage.

Meanwhile, Isola 2000 continues to strengthen its already substantial early-season snowpack.

The resort enjoyed favourable conditions last month and even managed a temporary early opening on the weekend of 29–30 November.

It will welcome visitors for the full winter season beginning this Saturday, 6 December.
