Hadjar unfazed by threat to Monaco Grand Prix podium finish
Isack Hadjar says he will not dwell on the outcome of Alpine’s appeal, despite the possibility of losing his Monaco Grand Prix podium finish.
Isack Hadjar has insisted he will not be overly disappointed if he loses his Monaco Grand Prix podium following an ongoing review into Pierre Gasly’s race penalties.

The result of the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix remains uncertain after Alpine successfully secured a hearing to challenge the two pit lane speeding penalties that dropped Gasly from third to seventh place.
Should the appeal succeed, Gasly could regain his podium finish, pushing Hadjar down from third to fourth.
The French driver, who claimed his second Formula One podium and first since joining Red Bull, admitted it would be disappointing to lose the result but said the experience itself could not be taken away.
“Of course it would be a shame,” Hadjar said ahead of this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
“It would have been nice for the story - signing for Red Bull in Monaco, then taking my first podium for the team there. But the emotions were real, and nobody can take those away.”
Hadjar acknowledged that the main consequence would be the loss of three championship points rather than the podium celebration itself.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to life at Red Bull alongside reigning world champion Max Verstappen and has earned praise for his performances during the opening stages of the season.
A decision on Alpine’s appeal is expected on Friday, with Gasly's potential return to the Monaco podium still hanging in the balance.
