Bernard d’Ormale, the husband of French actress Brigitte Bardot, was taken to hospital after suffering a medical episode following a walk in Saint-Tropez, local media reported.

The 84-year-old fell ill on Friday while returning from a stroll along the coastal path near La Garrigue, the property where Bardot used to spend her afternoons.
He was assisted by members of the Bardot Foundation before firefighters arrived and took him to a specialist hospital in Ollioules for checks.
Placed under observation overnight, d’Ormale was able to return home the following day.
The incident is thought to be linked to fatigue, lack of rest and a minor heart rhythm issue, following several emotionally demanding weeks.
His condition was not considered life-threatening.
