Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Nice in June 2026 to attend a major international technology forum, the city’s mayor Éric Ciotti has announced.

The visit will coincide with the Bharat Innovates event, taking place from 14 to 16 June, which aims to showcase India’s cutting edge technological innovations to a global audience.
Around 100 projects are set to be presented at the forum, targeting investors, industry leaders and policymakers, as India looks to promote its growing role in the global tech sector.
It is not yet known whether French President Emmanuel Macron will travel to Nice to welcome Modi during his visit.
