The 57-year-old ‘80s pop star and former Neighbours actor described his Doing Fine Encore shows as the “last chance” for fans to see him in a touring capacity.
Dates include Folkestone on 6 March.
Donovan, who played Scott Robinson opposite Kylie Minogue in the long-running soap, later scored four UK number one singles, including Any Dream Will Do from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
He joked that “nothing has changed except my age – maybe a bit more acid reflux and arthritis”, adding that previously cancelled dates prompted him to commit to a final run.
Later this year, he will also reprise his role as Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, with performances including Eastbourne’s Congress Theatre, saying the part allows him to “be a rock star every night”.
