Jim Carrey marries longtime girlfriend Min Ah in private ceremony

Carrey and Min Ah have kept much of their relationship away from the public eye.

They were first photographed together in 2022 but did not make their official debut as a couple until the César Awards in Paris in February.

During the ceremony, where Carrey received an honorary award, the actor publicly acknowledged Min Ah while delivering his speech in French.

His daughter Jane and grandson Jackson were also in attendance.

Carrey marries for the third time

The marriage is Carrey's third.

He was married to Melissa Womer, with whom he shares his daughter Jane, from 1987 until their divorce was finalised in 1995.

The actor later married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, although the marriage ended the following year.

Carrey has also had several high-profile relationships over the years.

He became engaged to his Me, Myself & Irene co-star Renée Zellweger after they began dating in 1999, before the couple separated in 2000.

He later dated Jenny McCarthy for five years, until 2010, and was more recently linked to his Kidding co-star Ginger Gonzaga.

A relationship largely kept private

Carrey has spoken in the past about enjoying a quieter life away from the spotlight and had previously suggested that he was unlikely to marry again following his first two marriages.

He has similarly kept his relationship with Min Ah largely private, despite the pair having been seen together several years before their César Awards appearance.

Their marriage comes seven months after that public debut in Paris, where Min Ah joined members of Carrey's family as he was honoured for his career.
