Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — the vocalists behind the fictional band HUNTR/X — are set to take to the stage at the ceremony in London on 22 February.

Organisers confirmed they will perform Golden, which made history at the weekend as the first K-pop song to win a Grammy.

The track has already picked up awards at the Golden Globes and topped charts in both the US and the UK.

Despite its global success, the Netflix film was not eligible for BAFTA nominations because it was not released in UK cinemas.

BAFTA organisers said they were “thrilled” to welcome the trio, promising a burst of K-pop energy at this year’s ceremony, which will be held at the Royal Festival Hall.
