The artist, now known as Ye, will perform at London’s Finsbury Park from 10 to 12 July, marking his first UK appearance since headlining Glastonbury in 2015.

Organisers say his return will be a “major moment” for the festival. His set is expected to span his career, from early releases such as The College Dropout to later albums including Graduation and The Life of Pablo. The announcement follows the recent release of his twelfth studio album, Bully.

However, the booking has drawn criticism due to Ye’s past antisemitic remarks, which sparked widespread backlash in recent years. Although he has since issued public apologies, some campaign groups and members of the Jewish community have questioned giving him such a prominent platform so soon after the controversy.

Despite this, Ye has gradually returned to major stages worldwide, with recent performances in the US, Asia and Latin America. No other acts for this year’s Wireless Festival have yet been confirmed.
