The Mediterranean coast however was one of the few regions which escaped last night’s frost. The lowest temperatures were recorded in Champagne, where they fell to -9°C, while the frost affected almost the entire country, with the exception of the centre of Paris, the Mediterranean coasts and the English Channel.
