Lignes d’Azur strike to disrupt Nice public transport on Monday
Lignes d’Azur services will be disrupted by a strike on Monday, with trams and many buses running reduced Sunday timetables. Four bus lines will not operate, as unions protest over pay and working conditions.
Public transport across Nice and the wider Nice Côte d’Azur metropolitan area will be disrupted on Monday 17 August due to a strike by Lignes d’Azur staff.

The four tram lines — 1, 2, 3 and B — along with numerous bus services will operate on Sunday and public holiday timetables throughout the day.
A number of departures will therefore be cancelled or run less frequently than usual.Lines 36, 37, Cadam Est and 99 will not operate at all. No disruption is expected on the rest of the network, while Lignes d’Azur’s commercial offices and Park-and-Ride facilities will remain open.
The strike, the fourth since the start of the summer, has been called by the CFTC and Sud Solidaires unions. They cite a lack of dialogue over pay and working conditions as the main reason for the industrial action.
