Luke Littler moved into the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship with a straight-sets win, while former champion Gerwyn Price was knocked out at Alexandra Palace.

Luke Littler remains firmly on track to defend his PDC World Darts Championship title after progressing comfortably to the third round at Alexandra Palace.

He eased past debutant David Davies with a convincing 3–0 victory, showing little difficulty in controlling the match from start to finish.
In contrast, it was the end of the road for former champion Gerwyn Price.
He suffered a surprise exit, losing 3–0 to Dutch player Wesley Plaisier.
Price was unable to find a way back into the contest as Plaisier took control early and maintained his momentum throughout the match.
