Man drowns in Mandelieu la Napoule

Man drowns in Mandelieu la Napoule - A 71-year-old man has died after drowning off the coast of La Raguette beach in Mandelieu-la-Napoule on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred at around 5pm, near the Château de la Napoule. The swimmer was pulled from the water after getting into difficulty, but emergency services were unable to save the victim despite their efforts. An investigation into the circumstances of the drowning is underway.
