During her stay on the Mediterranean island, the Russian former champion posted a video on Instagram showing her hitting balls on a modest local court with friends.

In the caption, she described tennis as “the most beautiful sport in the world”, adding that this feeling remains even when playing in simple surroundings like Porquerolles.

The appearance offered a striking contrast to the Grand Slam stages where Sharapova built her career, highlighting her continued enjoyment of the game in a casual setting.
