Mbappé continues to donate France bonuses to charity
Kylian Mbappé has reaffirmed his long-standing commitment to donating all of his France national team bonuses to charitable causes.
As France's World Cup dream comes to an end following last nights semi-final against Spain, captain Kylian Mbappé has reaffirmed a long-standing personal commitment: he has never kept any of the bonuses earned while playing for the national team.

Since France's 2018 World Cup triumph, the forward has donated all of his international appearance and tournament bonuses to charitable causes rather than accepting the payments himself.
Explaining the decision after the 2018 tournament, Mbappé said: “I don't need to be paid to represent my country. I earn enough money - a lot of money. It's important to help those in need. If giving a little can change someone else's life, then I'm happy to do it.”
A significant share of the donations has gone to Premiers de Cordée, a charity that helps children with illnesses or disabilities access sport, where Mbappé serves as a patron.
In 2020, he also co-founded the Inspired by Kylian Mbappé (IBKM) association with his mother, Fayza Lamari, to support young people in developing educational and career opportunities.
Reports have indicated that he has also pledged a portion of the profits from his business ventures to the foundation.
Any tournament bonuses Mbappé receives are expected to be donated in line with the commitment he has maintained for the past eight years.
