Measles - The World Health Organisation and Us health authorities have raised the alarm on the number of cases of measles worldwide. A total of 142,000 people died of measles worldwide in 2018 and the number of deaths is rising. Most of the dead are children. This virus is one of the most contagious. It has caused epidemics on five continents since 2018, exploding in cities or neighbourhoods where too few people are vaccinated. According to the report in developed countries, the mistrust of vaccines has contributed to the resurgence of the disease. The number of measles cases in Europe doubled in 2019.
