Miley Cyrus announces new album and return to the stage
Miley Cyrus has announced her tenth studio album, Bass Persuades, alongside two rare live shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The Grammy-winning singer will release the 10-track album on 18 September, before performing at the Hollywood Bowl on 16 and 18 October.

The record follows 2025’s Something Beautiful and marks Cyrus’ first release since moving to Atlantic Records.
For the new era, the 33-year-old also appears to be using simply Miley as her artist name.
Describing the inspiration behind the album, Cyrus said music can capture everything from love and heartbreak to the different experiences in between.
The record includes collaborations with Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.
The Hollywood Bowl concerts will mark a significant return to the stage for Cyrus, who has made individual live appearances in recent years but has not embarked on a full concert tour since 2022.
Cyrus said she had often attended shows at the famous Los Angeles venue but had never performed there herself, describing the Hollywood Bowl as one of her favourite places to experience live music.
Model/Actriz will join her as special guests for both dates.
The new album also arrives shortly after the death of Cyrus’ godmother Dolly Parton, whose influence on her life and career was acknowledged in the announcement.
Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl concerts will go on general sale on 10 September, following several presales beginning on 8 September, while Bass Persuades will be released worldwide on 18 September.
