Tuesday and Wednesday will be largely cloudy with frequent showers, particularly in the mornings, although some brighter spells may develop later in the day.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal norms, ranging between 12°C and 18°C.

Conditions are expected to improve slightly on Thursday, with drier weather and a mix of cloud and sunshine.

Temperatures could rise modestly, reaching up to 19°C in some areas.

For Friday 8 May, the weather will remain mixed.

Skies will be partly cloudy with a risk of scattered showers, especially inland and in higher areas.

However, the coast should stay mostly dry.

Temperatures are forecast to sit between 12°C and 19°C.

The weekend will bring further contrast, with Saturday staying relatively mild but cloudy, before a more significant deterioration on Sunday, when rain and thunderstorms are expected across the department.
