The agreement secures the future of one of the championship's most iconic events, which has been held annually since 2021 on the full Monaco Circuit.

The announcement also confirms new dates for the 2027 Monaco E-Prix, which will now take place on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 May, instead of the previously announced 15 and 16 May.

The change has been made to avoid a clash with the FIA World Endurance Championship and to better fit Monaco's 2027 events calendar.

First held in 2015, the Monaco E-Prix has become one of the highlights of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Since switching to the full Grand Prix circuit, the event has delivered increasingly competitive racing while also highlighting initiatives promoting sustainable mobility.

The partnership extension comes as Formula E prepares for the introduction of its new GEN4 car from the 2026-27 season, promising faster performance and even more exciting racing.

Fans were given a first look at the new car during a demonstration run at this year's Monaco E-Prix.

In a statement, the Automobile Club de Monaco said the renewed agreement reflects Monaco's important role in the development of electric motorsport and sustainable mobility, while ensuring the Monaco E-Prix remains a key fixture on the international racing calendar.

Ticket information for the 2027 Monaco E-Prix will be released in the coming months.
