Kimi Antonelli made Formula 1 history on Sunday by winning the Monaco Grand Prix and becoming the youngest driver ever to triumph on the streets of Monte-Carlo.

Starting from pole position, the Mercedes driver held onto the lead at the start and quickly established control of the race.
He remained at the front throughout the afternoon, successfully managing several interruptions and restarts to secure another impressive victory.
Early setbacks and costly penalties
While Antonelli enjoyed a flawless race, several drivers encountered difficulties.
Max Verstappen's afternoon ended almost immediately after the four-time world champion retired on lap two, while Valtteri Bottas, Oliver Bearman and Lando Norris also failed to reach the finish.
The race was additionally marked by a series of pit lane speeding penalties.
Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Pierre Gasly, Oscar Piastri and Franco Colapinto were all sanctioned during the race.
Late drama brings out the Safety Car
The closing stages brought extra tension as Lance Stroll crashed at the final corner on lap 60, triggering a Safety Car period.
Just a few laps after the restart, home favourite Charles Leclerc suffered a similar incident at the same corner, prompting another Safety Car intervention before race control ultimately red-flagged the event.
Following a lengthy stoppage, the remaining drivers returned to the grid for a standing restart with only a handful of laps remaining.
Hamilton and Hadjar complete the podium
Despite the pressure of a second race start, Antonelli made another clean getaway and comfortably maintained his lead to the finish.
Lewis Hamilton crossed the line in second place to secure Ferrari's best result of the weekend, while Isack Hadjar produced an excellent drive to claim third place for Red Bull.
The victory further strengthens Antonelli's championship challenge and adds another milestone to what is already proving to be a remarkable season for the young Italian.
