The scheme, run through the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, invites insured residents aged 50 to 80 to complete a free home testing kit every two years.

Health officials say early detection dramatically improves survival rates, with nearly nine in ten patients surviving when the disease is caught early.

More than 26,000 tests have been carried out over the past two decades, with 852 positive results leading to further investigations.

Authorities are urging eligible residents to take part, stressing that prevention remains a cornerstone of Monaco’s healthcare strategy.
