From 18 April 2026, the Monaco Stamp Office will issue a first collector’s stamp inspired by the original 1956 design created for the royal wedding, based on photographs from the time.
Produced in a limited run of tens of thousands, it will be available at the Stamp and Coin Museum and selected retail outlets.
A second stamp will be released on 8 June, to coincide with the opening of the exhibition “The Wedding of the Century. Monaco, 12–19 April 1956”, which will run until 15 October in the State Apartments of the Palace.
The exhibition will take visitors back to the historic week of celebrations, from Grace Kelly’s arrival in Monaco to the couple’s departure on their honeymoon, through a selection of archives, photographs, personal items and film footage.
Broadcast around the world at the time, the wedding became a defining moment for the Principality, blending royal tradition with Hollywood glamour and helping shape Monaco’s international image.
