Organised by the Yacht Club de Monaco, the event once again highlighted its importance in the development of young international sailors and included a visit from Monegasque Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc.

Italy’s Yacht Club Italiano secured overall victory following a high-level duel with Denmark’s Danish Dynamite team, who had led the standings for much of the regatta.

Switzerland’s Gstaad Yacht Club completed the podium, while the Yacht Club de Monaco finished eighth.

Beyond results, the event emphasised teamwork, sportsmanship and learning, notably through an International Clinic led by British coach Chris Atkins.

The Monaco Optimist Team Race will return in 2027 for its 15th edition.
