Officials say the scheme, active since the start of 2026, involves fake profiles contacting people and asking for money or personal information under the guise of donations or investment opportunities.

Scammers are reportedly using voice-imitation technology, manipulated phone numbers and fake documents to appear credible.

Authorities are urging anyone who receives suspicious messages to avoid responding and report the incident to the Monaco Police Force.
