Monaco to host International Épée Tournament this weekend

Monaco will welcome nearly 200 fencers from around the world for the International Épée Tournament on 10–11 January, competing for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Cup at Espace Saint-Antoine.

Monaco will host the International Épée Tournament from 10 to 11 January at the Espace Saint-Antoine, welcoming nearly 200 fencers from Monaco and abroad.

Held under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, the competition will feature individual men’s and women’s events across 17 pistes, with athletes vying for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Cup.

More than 130 of France’s top senior women fencers are expected to compete.

The tournament is open to senior épée fencers and selected juniors competing at senior level.

The finals will take place on Sunday 11 January at 4:00pm, followed by the awards ceremony later in the afternoon.
