Monaco’s Pink Ribbon Walk returns on 15 February

Hundreds are expected at Port Hercule on 15 February for the Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk, supporting women’s cancer awareness and early detection.

The 15th Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk will take place at Port Hercule on 15 February, attracting hundreds to support women’s cancer awareness and early detection.

The 5km route, starting around 10:15am, passes Monaco landmarks including the Prince’s Palace, Cathedral, Oceanographic Museum and Casino de Monte-Carlo terraces.

Participants write messages of support on their race numbers instead of wearing timed bibs.

Many walkers are survivors, patients, or taking part in memory of loved ones.

All proceeds will fund lobular breast cancer screening at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre.

The walk is open to all, with free entry for children under 13, wheelchair and pushchair accessible paths, and pets welcome.

Registration costs €30, with limited edition T-shirts designed by artist Mr A available.Pink Ribbon Monaco, founded in 2011 under Princess Charlene’s honorary presidency, continues to promote early detection, medical research, and women’s rights in the region.
