Running from 13 July to 15 October 2026, "Wedding of the Century" in Philately and Numismatics brings together a collection of stamps, commemorative medals, minting dies, first-day covers, souvenir cards and other historic objects linked to the 1956 royal wedding.
The marriage between Prince Rainier III and the American actress captivated millions around the world and helped establish Monaco's international profile.
The exhibition highlights how the occasion inspired a wide range of commemorative pieces, many of which have since become valuable historical records.
Visitors will also discover philatelic documents and heritage items that illustrate how the wedding has been preserved in the Principality's collective memory over the past seven decades.
