New number to report animal abuse in France - A new number has been made available across France today Monday 24th June, to report animal abuse. The 3677 will make is possible to report a case of animal abuse and is available 7 days a week, a first in France, it operates like a traditional emergency service and can be contact from 9am to 7pm on weekdays and from 10am to 5pm on weekends. The National Council for Animal Protection is behind the initiative and has released a budget of 300,000 euros to launch the platform, which should notably help to better coordinate the fight against animal abuse.
