The company’s operations were thrown into disarray when the Dutch government took over ownership in September, a move that broke apart previously established links within its global network.

In an open letter, Nexperia said it had made several attempts to reopen dialogue with its Chinese subsidiaries in order to stabilise manufacturing and return to regular output levels.

The company emphasised the importance of re-establishing communication to repair the fractured supply chain.

Nexperia stated that cooperation from its China-based teams is essential to getting production back on track and highlighted its ongoing efforts to rebuild internal coordination since the takeover.
